Brightlingsea-based marine business Morgans Group has acquired Fox’s Yacht Sales on the River Orwell in Ipswich.

The move comes after the company, located on Brightlingsea’s Shipyard Estate, purchased Fox’s Marina, boatyard, and chandlery at the beginning of 2026.

Operating from Fox’s Marina, as well as a newly opened second base at Woolverstone Marina, Fox’s Yacht Sales will continue to offer its full range of services. This includes new yacht and motorboat sales from Beneteau and Wellcraft, alongside a comprehensive used boat brokerage operation and authorised Beneteau parts supply through the manufacturer’s official spare parts network.

The yacht sales business will be run by Charles Vinten, formerly of marina business Clarke & Carter, which operates from Levington and Burnham-on-Crouch.
