Robust regulation of animal-related businesses has won Tendring District Council (TDC) an RSPCA award.
The council says the Gold PawPrint award for Animal Activity Licensing recognises its “leadership in raising standards across animal-related businesses through robust regulation and collaboration”.
TDC was also given a Silver PawPrint for Housing – marking its work to promote responsible pet ownership through tenant guidance and welfare partnerships.”
Lee Gingell, Public Affairs Manager at the RSPCA, said: “We’re delighted to recognise Tendring District Council with these awards. Their commitment to animal welfare is truly commendable, and we hope their example inspires others to strive for excellence.”
