New art gallery plans to spark creativity in Brightlingsea

A new town centre art gallery, studio, art shop and exhibition space is to open with a “mission is to bring people together, spark creativity, and help Brightlingsea grow through art”.

Studio Constance is run by Connie Brown and will be based in the Foresters Hall in Sydney Street and opens with an exhibition of works by 16 local artists and photographers and arts and crafts activities for children.

Besides exhibitions, the space will be hosting stay and paint sessions for children of all ages, art and craft workshops for toddlers and two summer art camps for children aged between 5 & 9 and 10& 15. It will also available for artists to use to host classes and workshop sessions.
