Five days of roadworks are scheduled for the main B1029 road in to Brightlingsea in July.

Essex County Council will be carrying out carriageway repairs on a 475-metre stretch of road between Gatehouse Farm and Church Hill between July 11 & 15.

According to the Essex Highways future roadworks map, the work will take place overnight, between the 8pm and 5am, with  traffic control and a 10mph speed limit in operation.
