Two Essex charities have benefitted from a fundraising Christmas concert organised by a Brightlingsea women’s choir.

The Women in Harmony concert in St James Church raised £1,458. At a recent rehearsal, two cheques for equal amounts were given to Daisy Taylor, of Mid and North Essex MIND, seen here with choir leader Alison Benz, centre, and James Martin-Whymark, right, from St Helena Hospice.
