A member of a local group that funds charities and local good causes has visited Brightingsea’s 4Youth club to see the work it is doing.
Last year, Mosaic Foster Care, a sponsor of Colchester-based Palmer & Partners 500 Club, donated £500 to the Tower Street-based youth club.
Run by volunteers, 4Youth is a safe, welcoming space that has become a lifeline for many local young people and families. The group offers somewhere children can go after school to relax, connect with friends and simply be themselves.
500 Club committee member Brady Rackham visited 4Youth, along with Greg De Smidt from Mosaic Foster Care. Seeing the impact of the organisation first-hand left a lasting impression. “It’s such a wonderful place for kids to go after school and be themselves,” said Mr Rackham.
The 500 Club’s mission is to create positive change in local communities by donating £500 each month to a local charity or cause, nominated by its members.
