Talks by consultant surgeons on subjects including breast cancer and transplants will feature at a Health and Wellbeing Day being organised by Brightlingsea Town Council on March 7.

The event is open to all and aims to provide accessible and reliable health information alongside opportunities to engage with local support services.

The Brightlingsea Stroke Support Group, Autumn Care Centre, First Responders and the Brightlingsea Foodbank are among local organisations attending, along with the NHS SOS support bus, the RNLI, and Essex Police.

Funded by the Healthier Habits Hub Fund wth support from Essex County Council, the event runs from 10am to 4pm and admission is free.
