Over 4,400 Brightlingsea residents have now been inoculated with Covid vaccine – 41% of the town’s population.

The latest figures – released by the town’s Colne Medical Centre – have been released as bookings for vaccinations have been opened up to the over 60s.

Residents in the age group have been contacted by text and invited for a vaccination on Saturday, March 6, at the Station Road surgery. The practice staff have also been contacting people by phone to offer appointments.
