The ninth Tendring Youth Awards are now open for nominations with the aim of shining a spotlight on the accomplishments of young people who live, study, or work in the area – and the adults who support them.
The categories recognise achievements in academics, inspirational caring, community work, and environmental efforts, among others and the winners will get to attend a dazzling gala awards evening at Clacton’s Princes Theatre in July.
Karen O’Connor, chairwoman of the Tendring Youth Awards, shared her admiration for the remarkable achievements of young people in the area as the awards enter their second decade.
“Every year, we meet some truly extraordinary young individuals, and I am eagerly anticipating this year’s nominations,” said Karen O’Connor, chairwoman of the Tendring Youth Awards. “Let’s come together to celebrate and recognise the outstanding young people in our community.”
