Pre-school children at the Brightlingsea Primary School and Nursery now have a brand new outdoor playground to help them play and learn.

The playground at the nursery, off Eastern Road, features a wide range of play areas including a building zone, muddy play, library, covered sandpit and a road layout for buggies.

Opened officially at a recent open day for parents and guardians by Brightlingsea mayor  Chris Paveley, the playground was funded by Essex County Council.
