Brightlingsea Lido is ready to welcome swimmers for the new summer season and has a host of new activities to entice visitors.

The volunteer-run pool on Promenade Way, will open on Saturday, May 23 with entry fees frozen for the third year running. Café Lido will be open with some new menu options, too.

New activities include Lido Little Dippers – a six-week water confidence course for 2–4 year olds and their parents/guardians starting on Wednesday, June 3 in the newly warmed baby and toddler pool,  a popup sauna weekend and sound flotation bath meditation sessions offering “a unique way to relax and reset”. Summer highlights also include an ABBA and 70s night on July 18  under the Lido’s covered pavilion.

The Lido team are also producing a podcast – “Lido Lovers”. Released every two weeks, it promises a mix of interviews and topical information. For more information, visit the Lido’s website.
