A duck race held as part of Brightlingsea Regatta has generated £600 for the town’s First Responders.

The race – which saw numbered ducks launchd from the town jetty – was organised by Brightlingsea Harbour, with prizes donated by local businesses.

The Responders recently announced that they have purchased another two defibrillators and lockable cabinets for installation in the town.
