Brightlingsea in Bloom – the organisation which installs and maintains the floral decorations around the town – is on the hunt for volunteers.
The Bloomers, who have won national and regional awards for their displays in the past, are looking for new helpers, and especially anyone with a car that is fitted with a towbar who could help with watering duties during the summer.
A vehicle with a towbar is required to tow the voluntary group’s bowser, which is used to provide water for the various pots and containers around the town.
