Brightlingsea Museum will open to the public on Saturday, September 5th – nearly four months after the original planned opening date was abandoned due to the pandemic.
Until social distancing rules change, the new museum – located in what was the town’s police station in Station Road – will be operating on a timed ticket basis, with free tickets available for booking at https://www.ticketsource.co.uk/brightlingsea-museum, or by calling 01206 302171 on Thursday mornings. Bookings can also be made with museum volunteers at the Community Centre Car Boot Sale on Sunday, August 30th for people to book tickets.
The museum will be open on Saturdays from 10.15am to 4.00pm and on Wednesdays from 1.15pm to 4.00pm.
