Brightlingsea Museum opens for its 2024 season on Good Friday with a special exhibition showing the history of the town’s schools.
The exhibition features a fascinating collection of pictures, documents and information from the late 1800s to the present day.
At a preview for supporters of the Station Road museum, the collection of relatively recent school photographs proved popular, with local residents queueing to spot relatives, friends and – their younger selves!
The museum opens from 11am-5pm on Saturdays and bank holidays and from 2-5pm on Sundays from Easter to December. In June, July and August, it’s also open on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 2-5pm.
Admission to the museum is free. For further information and any changes to opening times, visit www.brightlingseamuseum.co.uk.
