Sainsbury’s applies for signage permission

As the Sainsbury’s store in Brightlingsea heads for completion, planners have been asked to approve new signage on the Samsons Road store.

The proposed signage, says the application to Tendring District Council, will replace the former Co-op branding and won’t be “intermittent or flashing”.

No official opening date for the store has yet been announced, but a May date is looking likely.
