The sun shone, the crowds turned up – and everybody had fun at the 2025 Brightlingsea Carnival.

Hailed as one of the best for years, the parade featured a host of local organisations, performers, historic vehicles, dancers and bands, with decorated floats and costumes on a VE Day theme, along with carnival princess courts from Brightlingsea and surrounding towns and villages.
