Nominations have opened for the 2024 Tendring4Growth Business Awards, which aim to find the district’s best businesses.
Run by Tendring District Council (TDC), this year’s awards feature new categories and nine awards aiming to highlight business excellence and innovation in the district.
Ivan Henderson, TDC Cabinet Member for Economic Growth, Regeneration and Tourism, urged the community to get involved. “Countless outstanding businesses deserve acknowledgement, and their success stories provide that motivation to others across the district to strive for greater achievements,” he said.
This year’s award categories are:

- Delivering Social Value – sponsored by Galloper Wind Farm
- Digital Excellence – sponsored by NEEB
- Empowering Women – sponsored by Surya Hotels
- High Street Heroes – sponsored by Esign Visual Communications
- Hospitality and Visitor Attractions – sponsored by Backing Essex Business
- Innovation in Sustainability – sponsored by Pickering
- Tradesperson of the Year – sponsored by Rose Builders
The award ceremony will take place at the Princes Theatre in the autumn, coinciding with the Tendring4Growth Business Fortnight. Nominations will close on Sunday, 30 June, and forms and the award criteria can be found here.
