Waste and recycling collection times will change for Brightlingsea residents over the Christmas period.
There’ll be no collections on the Christmas Day, Boxing Day or New Year’s Day bank holidays. On the week beginning December 30, households which usually see their waste collected on the Monday will see it collected one day later, while those which usually have it collected from Tuesday to Thursday will see their collection two days later, with the usual Friday collection that week taking place on the following Monday, January 6.
For the week beginning January 6 2025, collections will be a day later than usual, with Friday collections taking place on Saturday, January 11. Collections resume as normal from Monday, 13 January 2024.
