Do you know an amazing young person who could be worthy of a Tendring Youth Award?
Nominations are now open for the tenth awards, which aim to highlight on the achievements of young people who live, study, or work in the Tendring district. There’s also an award recognising the adults who support them.
The categories recognise achievements in academia, inspirational caring, community work, and environmental efforts, among others with winners attending a gala awards evening at Clacton’s Princes Theatre in July.
Nominations can be made online by May 4. the categories are:
- Young Life Saver ( aged 11-21)
- Arts (young person/group aged 11-21)
- Community Improvement (aged 8-21)
Young Carer (aged 8-18) - Learning Achievement (aged 11-21)
- Outstanding Achievement (aged 11-21)
- Personal Growth (aged 8-21)
- Improved Attendance (aged 5-16)
- The Environmental Initiative Award (young person/group aged 8-21)
- Unsung Hero (Adult)
