Brand new displays and returning crowd favourites have been added to this year’s Clacton Airshow, completing an exciting flying line-up for the 33rd show.
Taking place on Thursday 27 and Friday 28 August, the latest airshow – one of the largest events in Essex – combines new aerobatic displays, heritage aircraft, classic jets and more.
Making their Clacton debut will be The Starlings, a two-aircraft aerobatic team flown by former British Aerobatic Champions, and the Turbulent ‘Turb’ Team, which performs close formation flying in tiny Druine D.31 Turbulent aircraft.
They will be joined by the return of the Bronco Demo Team with its OV-10 Bronco, the WWII era P-51D Mustang ‘Moonbeam McSwine’, and the Strikemaster Pair.
The new additions join a line-up including the world-famous RAF Red Arrows, the RAF Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, the Flying Comrades, the MiG-17 F ‘Fresco’ and a refreshed twilight programme.
