Details on a wide-range of grants – and how to apply for them – will be given alongside top tips at a Tendring4Growth event next week.
The free event, being held on Monday, April 15, will launch numerous grant schemes funded from Tendring District Council’s (TDC) UK Shared Prosperity Fund and Rural England Prosperity Fund allocations from the government.
Grants will be available to businesses and community groups covering a range of initiatives. At the event people can find out more and get advice on what their organisation or company may be able to apply for.
Mike Carran, TDC Assistant Director for Economy, Culture and Leisure, encouraged people to come along.
“We have some significant funding available for businesses and community groups, and want to make it as easy as possible for people to apply,” Mr Carran said.
“There is a wide-range of topics covered, from events and tourism, to capital grants for businesses, to sports participation help, so this really is an event for everyone.
“Due to the number of funding initiatives, each with their own eligibility criteria and application deadlines, we want to support people to apply to the correct scheme and can provide guidance on applications which may or may not be supported – that is what this event is all about.”
Taking place at the Harwich Arts and Heritage Centre in Main Road, Dovercourt (next to Mayflower Primary School), this event is free to attend and runs from 9.30am until 1pm.
People are asked to book a space to help manage capacity. Find the event on Eventbrite at https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/tendrings-shared-prosperity-fund-rural-england-prosperity-fund-launch-tickets-863806688057
