Freemasons’ fundraising helps Autumn Centre

Malcolm Channing, right, presents the cheque to Gary Scott

Brightlingsea’s Autumn Centre charity has been presented with a cheque for £1,500 by the town’s freemasons.

Malcolm Channing, the Worshipful Master of the Brightlingsea Lodge of Hope (433), selected the Centre as his chosen charity during his year in office. He’s seen above, right, with Centre trustee Gary Scott.

The Autumn Centre, which has a base in Victoria Place, is a charity that helps elderly and vulnerable adults live as independently as possible.
