An event aimed at keeping older Tendring residents safe at home and on the streets is to be held in Clacton’s Princes Theatre on Wednesday, February 19.
The Crucial Crew Event for Older Persons is being organised by the Tendring Community Safety Partnership and Tendring District Council for residents aged over 55. It will feature a variety of organisations offering advice on topics ranging from crime prevention and fire safety to handling power outages.
Participating organisations include the NHS, Essex Police, Essex County Fire and Rescue Service, Community Voluntary Services Tendring, Essex Adult Social Care, Neighbourhood Watch, Bill Clinic, UK Power Networks, Safer Roads Partnerships, Age Well East, and Clacton Lions.
The event is free and includes a small buffet lunch, but tickets – available on a first-come, first-served basis – must be booked in advance by calling 01255 686108 or emailing [email protected].
