Brightlingsea window cleaner Andy Conroy has been using humorous pictures on Facebook to draw attention to the town’s worst potholes.

His pictures have seen him appear on Breakfast tv, local radio and feature in local newspaper reports across Essex.

Andy, who trades as Mr Windows, has been using props from his grandchildren’s toybox and local charity shops to create the pictures.

“I don’t know if it will get the potholes fixed any quicker but we’re all having a good laugh about it,” he told the BBC. “People seem to be enjoying them.”
