Brightlingea events raise thousands for hospice

Fundraisers left to right: Pauline Skerritt, Ann Constable, Sue Haywood, Pam Willett, Anne Nicholson and Fearn Short from St Helena Hospice

Busy fundraisers in the Brightlingsea Hospice Support Group have collected an amazing £20,000 for St Helena Hospice in 2022

The money was raised from events held throughout the year including a Spring Fayre, Open Gardens, a paddleboard event at the regatta, a prosecco afternoon tea and numerous smaller events – all of which were all well supported by locals and visitors.

The group had a stall on the Christmas Market at Brightlingsea’s Late Night Shopping event on December 2 and presented a cheque to Fearn Short from St Helena Hospice.
