Look out for the Brightlingsea Art Trail in the run-up to Christmas – a trail of illuminated window displays featuring local festive artwork to be revealed at dusk.
The trail is being organised by Cassie Catchpole, who runs the town’s Fresh Air Festival, and The Grand Theatre of Lemmings, which has also organised similar trails in Manningtree and Clacton.
Said Cassie: “I’ve been working with the Lemmings for nine years and it’s so great to see the development of this project into my home community of Brightlingsea. We have a talented collection of local artists and can’t wait to see what they come up with!”
If you’d like to walk the trail, maps are availble from Little Boat Gifts and Brightlingsea Library, both in New Street, from December 10 or you can follow TheatreOfLemmings on Facebook, where each nightly window will be revealed.
