Pioneer CK18 - find out more about her at All Saints' Maritime Weekend

All Saints’ church is the place to be this weekend if you want to find out more about Brightlingsea’s rich maritime heritage and how the town has been shaped by the sea.

The church is hosting a Maritime Weekend with displays and talks from the Pioneer Trust, Brightlingsea Museum, the Friends of All Saints’, the Shipwrecked Mariners’ Society, and the RNLI.

The free event runs from 10am to 4pm on Saturday, May 2, and 10am to 2pm the day after.

On the Sunday, at 3pm, the Marenzio Singers will be giving a performance featuring songs of the sea called Time and Tide. Tickets cost £10 with refreshments, available from Little Boats Gifts in New Street or at the church.
