All Saints’ joins the Lights Trail

Brightlingsea’s festive lights trail from All Saints’ Church to the Hard will be completed this weekend (December 12 & 13) as the special festive lights display and attractions are lit at All Saints’.

From 4pm to 7pm on Saturday 12, Sunday 13 and Saturday 19 and from 4pm to 5.30pm on Sunday 20 December you can walk through the historic churchyard and enjoy the festive lights, some of which have been specially-created for this year’s Lights Trail. Father Christmas will be located in the porch to wave to the children and there will be Christmas music playing too.

Unfortunately Covid-19 regulations mean that you can’t add your messages directly, but they can be emailed to Angela Herbert on [email protected] or Sheila Crow on [email protected] who will place them onto the tree for you.

Don’t forget that the lights at the Hard will be on after dusk, and there are over 100 light shows at houses and businesses all over the town. You can find the locations on our Lights Trail Map.

And this weekend – the 12th & 13th – will also see the opening of the Festive Thrills Pop-Up Shop at 33 Hurst Green from 11am to 3pm on Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 December 2020 selling festive food, decorations, gifts and more in aid of All Saints’ Church restoration fund.
