Bus services increase as restrictions eased

A still from First Bus's video

First Bus is now running more buses to provide more seats for key workers and essential journeys.

However, even though there are more buses running, there is reduced capacity on each bus so passengers are urged to allow plenty of time for journeys and to travel at quieter times if possible. The company also requests that passengers:

  • Pay in advance on the app or use contactless
  • Keep their distance and follow signage on board
  • Wear a face covering
  • Leaving windows open to aid ventilation

First has produced a short video to show some of the changes it has made to comply with the government’s new guidelines and details and timetables are available on the company’s website.
