Brightlingsea WinterFest has handed over £1,922 to Mid and North East Essex Mind, 20% of the amount raised by February’s run of arts, music, literary and spoken word events.
The latest donation brings the total donated to the charity by WinterFest over nine years to £12,671. The remainder of the money raised this year – over £8,500 – will be used to provide grants for Brightlingsea residents and organisations from the WinterFest Wellbeing Fund.
