The East of England Co-op’s Travel branch has relocated from the old Fiveways’ store to a new unit in the car park.
The move to a new unit – described as a “purpose-built, self-charging pod equipped with solar panels” – follows the closure of the Co-op run supermarket at the end of 2024 after its transfer to Sainsbury’s. It’s understood that the store won’t reopen under its new branding until April this year.
The Travel branch manager ,Debbie Wilby, said: “Our new location will allow us to offer an even better environment for our customers to plan their perfect getaways, with the same friendly, expert advice they’ve come to expect. We look forward to welcoming both familiar and new faces to the new branch and continuing to help Brightlingsea residents make their travel dreams a reality.”
The branch will be open from 9am to 5pm Monday to Saturday.
