Brightingsea gets a third opportunity to experience silliness and family fun when the Fresh Air Festival returns for the third year running.
The free outdoor arts festival on Promenade Way will feature games, dancing, workshops, giant trees, marbles and a host of top street performers.
Featured this year will be performances from the international circus company, Upswing, who’ll also be running skills sessions for anyone over the age of seven. Music will be provided Musical Ruth, whose unique brand of humour and unexpected renditions of traditional tunes and pop songs have been seen all over the UK and Europe.
The Fresh Air Festival takes place on Sunday, September 21 from 11am to 4pm. For the latest information and details about the people behind the event, see the festival website. And you can see organiser Cassie Catchpole explain more about what it’s all about in this video.
