Low ticket sales have forced the cancellation of what would have been the 10th Voices for Hospice concert, which was due to take place on Saturday, October 11 in St James’ Church.

However, a planned matinee concert earlier in the day featuring the Brightlingsea Primary School choir, Bright Voices and guests is to go ahead as planned.

Tickets for the 4pm matinee are available from Spirals & Little Boat Gifts, adults £5, 5-16s £2.50 & under 5s free.

The bi-annual concerts, which mostly featured local performers, have raised over £18,000 for the hospice. Tickets for the evening concert can be transferred to the matinee, refunded or donated to St Helena Hospice.
