Brightlingsea’s Colne Delta Blues and Americana club is continuing its run of securing top performers after announcing an autumn concert by country music star Ashley Campbell – the youngest daughter of Glen Campbell.
The gig will be Ashley’s only show – apart from festivals – in the East of England this year and represents quite a coup for the club, which formed at the beginning of this year.
The youngest of the eight children, Ashley has performed in the UK at the C2C Festival and the Nashville Meets London Festival, as well as supporting artists including Kris Kristofferson and Jimmy Webb. Both her albums – ‘The Lonely One’ and ‘Something Lovely’ – made the the top ten of the UK Country Chart.
Tickets for her Brightlingsea concert in the Community Centre on Friday, October 27 – which includes a support act – go on sale from Monday June 5th and are available from https://colnedelta.club.
