John Paxman, who scaled the equivalent of Britain’s three highest peaks by climbing the stairs in his home in March, raised £3,212.25 for Breast Cancer UK. His sponsored Three Peaks Stair Challenge saw him climb the stairs 1,380 times to ascend the combined height of Snowdon, Scafell Pike and Ben Nevis.
