The streets of Brightlingsea will be the scene of madcap mayhem once again this summer when the Brightlingsea’s Pram Race takes place.

Relaunched in 2025 after an absence of many years, the event sees teams of two – often in fancy dress – racing from pub to pub before tackling an inflatable obstacle course at the finish.

Organised to raise funds for the Brightlingsea Late Night Shopping event in December, entries are now open for the race, which taakes place on Saturday, August 15 at 3pm.
