Voters are being asked for their views on where they go to cast their ballot in Tendring.

Tendring District Council’s (TDC) Electoral Services team has begun the first phase of its Polling Places Review. Held every five years, the complete review takes a broad look at polling places – designated areas within which a polling station must be placed to ensure equal access to voting.

In the first phase of the review, people are being asked if there are any major issues that should be considered – such as addressing where access means crossing a major road – while a second phase later in the year will look at the 78 polling stations across the district in more detail.

To have your say, complete the survey on the TDC website at or write to Electoral Services, Tendring District Council, Town Hall, Clacton-on-Sea, Essex CO15 1SE.
The first phase consultation closes on 23 August 2024.
