Brightlingsea Lido is gearing up for the new 2025 season and officially opens its doors on Saturday, May 24.

With its Olympic-size outdoor pool and baby and toddler pool, the Lido remains a special destination for swimmers, sun-seekers and families. The trustees and volunteers who run the Lido promise plenty of opportunities for fun, relaxation, and community spirit.

Over the closed period the Lido team has been busy making improvements to the pool’s facilities and the adjacent Café Lido. On June 28, the Lido will be the venue for its fundraiser, the Big Summer Party, this year featuring local band the Lost Gooseberries and an on-site bar.
