Local cakemakers are being asked to use their talents to help Brightlingsea Foodbank raise funds at the forthcoming Brightlingsea Free Music Festival.

Foodbank volunteers will be running a cake stall and tea tent at the festival – held over the weekend of August 6 & 7 – and is asking for donations of cakes to sell.

Any type of cake will be welcomed – small cakes, large sponges, fruit cakes, tray bakes, vegan, gluten free etc – and they can be taken to the tea tent on Hurst Green from 10am on either of the festival days.
