Nominate a local business for a Tendring4Growth award

Last year's winners

Nominations have opened for the 2023 Tendring4Growth Business Awards.

Applications are welcome from firms for the Tendring District Council-run (TDC) awards, which this year have seven categories.

Last year two Brightlingsea women – Sarah Capon, the landlady of The Railway Tavern, and Lucy Weaver, who runs Pink Parrot Pottery in Great Bentley – were both commended in the annual awards that mark the best of the district’s businesses.

Nominations close on Sunday, 4 June, after which they will be shortlisted by a judging panel. The awards ceremony will take place at the Princes Theatre in the Autumn, to coincide with Tendring4Growth Business Fortnight.

This year’s award categories are:

  • Women in Business
  • Digital & Technology
  • Tourism
  • Creativity & Culture
  • Food & Drink Producer
  • Independent Retailer
  • Entrepreneur of the Year

Nomination forms and the award criteria can be found at www.tendringdc.gov.uk/business/tendring4growth-business-awards.
