Brightlingsea Primary School choir took to the big stage at Clacton’s Prince’s Theatre during a choir festival last week.
Fifty pupils represented the school at the Tendring Vocal Festival on the evenings of March 29 & 30, singing alongside 11 other local schools.
The choir performed two songs of their own, ‘Believe’ by Lin Marsh and ‘Building’ by Richard Stilgoe. The event then finished with a mass performance from all 12 schools of ‘Let It Go’ from Disney’s Frozen.
School staff reported that the children were “an asset to our community and did us proud, performing with confidence, clear diction and big smiles”.
