To mark this important day, local church members meet in St James’ for a short service together. If weather and mobility allow, we walk from the High Street down to Gandergoose Green, opposite the Museum, carrying a large wooden cross and pausing for a brief prayer at 3 places en route. We return to St James’ and revive ourselves with hot cross buns and hot drinks.
