An increase in local cases of COVID-19 has led to Brightlingsea’s Colne Medical Centre asking patients to wear face masks when attending the Station Road practice.

“This helps protect our most vulnerable patients and reduce the spread of infection,” said the practice in a statement.

The practice added: “You will also notice that all staff are wearing masks at this time to minimise the risk of staff illness and ensure we can continue providing care.”
