Brightlingsea-based EWD Recycling has recently replaced four tipper lorries and two RORO vehicles with brand new Volvo FMX 8×4 and Scania P410 8×4 trucks.

The company provides waste disposal and waste recycling services for industrial and domestic users across the east of England. It operates a fleet of 30 HGV’s – mostly Volvos – which often have to work in demanding off-road situations.

Included in the specification are programmable night heaters, which warm the cab in advance of the drivers arriving for 6am starts.
