Get your running shoes or walking boots on and get ready for Brightlingsea & District Rotary Club’s Jog-Walk-Run.

The annual event takes place on Sunday, September 8 and raises funds for the Essex & Herts Air Ambulance.

The four-mile course sees participants start from All Saints’ Church before heading down Moveron’s Lane to Alresford Creek, along the seawall to the finish at the Millennium Gardens on Promenade Way.

The course starts gently downhill and is then flat, so it’s suitable for all levels of walkers, joggers, runners and sturdy buggies. Dogs on leads are welcomed, but horses and cycles are not permitted.

The start is at 11am, with registration and entries taken from 10–10.45am. Entries can also be made online here.
