Ten years of volunteering! That’s how long Community First Responder Steve Houston has been providing emergency medical care for Brightlingsea residents.
Recently his decade as Brightlingsea co-ordinator was marked with a long service award from Neill Moloney, CEO of the East Of England Ambulance Service.
Ambulance staff and volunteers with up to 40 years’ service were present at the award event, held at Downham Hall near Billericay – a total of over 900 years in total.
