Brightlingsea Lido is calling on local residents to consider volunteering as trustees to help manage the pool.

The charity-run pool on Promenade Way is looking for individuals who are “committed to preserving local heritage, supporting outdoor wellbeing and ensuring the Lido’s future as a hub for outdoor fun”.

Trustees will be at the forefront of decision-making, fundraising, and championing the Lido. No specialist experience is required, though skills in finance, marketing, law, fundraising, facilities management or engineering would be a big asset.

‘This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone who loves the lido and wants to be part of its story,” said trustee chair Celia Jones. ‘Whether you are a seasoned professional or simply someone with fresh ideas and enthusiasm we’d love to hear from you.”

To find out more and request an information pack and application form contact the Lido on [email protected], ideally by the beginning of February.
