The bollards on Church Road – which have been missing for months – have now been replaced by Essex Highways.
Brightlingsea’s county councillor Alan Goggin reports that the damaged bollards on the Thorrington side of the B1029 have also been repaired. He also reported that work to work to resurface Church Road is a about to start, and most of the work to renew Bellfield Avenue is now complete.

10.00 to 11.00 – The Council Offices, Victoria Place, Brightlingsea, CO7 0BP. - Lido fundraising – This summer’s Lido raffle raised £3,208. All prizes have now been claimed and the organisers have thanked local businesses for donations and those who’ve bought tickets.
- Jog Walk Run – Held on Sunday, September 14 in aid of the Essex & Herts Air Ambulance and organised by Brightlingsea and District Rotary Club. The four-mile riverside course runs from All Saints’ Church to the Millenium Gardens on Promenade Way. Check in from 10am, start at 11am – register on the day or at www.brightlingseajogwalkrun.org.
