Would you use an outdoor gym in Brightlingsea?
Brightlingsea Town Council is investigating the possibility of installing free-to-use outdoor gym equipment – dubbed the Jubilee Outdoor Gym – on the Bayard Recreation Ground and has launched a survey to gather residents' views.
The council is proposing that funding for the equipment, which it says would be similar to that pictured above, would come from Sport England’s Jubilee Fund. If the application is successful, the outdoor gym could be officially opened during the Platinum Jubilee weekend – but if unsuccessful then the installation will not go ahead.
The survey can be found here.
